JasonWoof when I'm ready to make a release, I like to mark that spot in the revision history/tree. I've been doing that with this command: git branch release_0_208:54
this seems to work fine in my clone. I did "git push" and it says it transfered stuff.08:55
but when I make another clone from the master (headless copy that I "push"ed to) I don't see this new branch08:55
so my question is: how do I push new branches?08:56
is it not pushing because I haven't changed anything on that branch?08:56

Ma3oxuct Hi, I need some assistance getting gitweb working with my repository...I keep getting "09:57
403 Forbidden - No projects found", no matter what I adjust $projectroot to (I keep $projects_list empty)09:57
I've made sure that the location supplied is the correct location and played around with adding /.git at the end (my project's git stuff is located in .git)09:58

ShadeHawk Excuse me, how portably split file (or rtaher command output) into two parts: the part to the first empty line, and the rest11:12
(I need this for gitweb test)?11:12
ferdy joined11:35
ShadeHawk is "| sed -e '/^.$/ q'" portable enough?11:36
or rather "| sed -e '/^\r$/ q'"11:37
fonseca sed -n '1,/^$/p' ... and ... sed '1,/^$/d' ... at least that is what cogito uses (the first thing)11:41
ShadeHawk well, the line is not empty, it contains \r (\r\n line ending, as per HTTP spec)11:43
