clime hey, anyone knows why git submodule isn't being checked out from the current branch? i.e. when i switch branches the submodule doesn't switch and shows as modified. I need to manually go to the submodule and checkout the correct commit for the branch for git status to stop showing a change. Why is that?10:15

clime `git checkout <submodule_path>` or `git reset --hard` don't restore the submodule link so I really need to go inside and do it manually. It feels quite cumbersome. git version 2.34.110:16

Guest2695 Question about managing repo size when I don't need the full history: I have forked a huge repo (30gb) with only about 300mb worth of files at each commit. I'm only interested in tracking the master branch of the original remote, and occasionally rebasing my changes on it. Is there any way to reduce its footprint on my system? I in no way have the17:43
