alfonsius perexg: just trying to view a ip webcam in tvh and having trouble connecting. URL: rtsp://blbla:blabla@10.100.10.175:554/11, answer from camera is : RTSP/1.0 406 Not Acceptable -> SETUP rtsp://10.100.10.175/11 RTSP/1.0. looks like the port is removed in request, any hints ?07:57
perexg: using the url with ffmpeg is working just fine. do i need pipe for this kind of input ?07:59

dreamcat4^ hey. what about using https://bintray.com as a place to upload / host .debs ?10:23
i mean for 'testing' / more stable tracking behind master10:24

alfonsius perexg: oh. any plans on that ? i guess i cant get into ip cameras w/o user/pass12:46

alfonsius perexg: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2xfb4wfrm04m4pj/AAC9eRsFeRC0vXsR0H-np-iRa?dl=0 . no friggin clue how dropbox sharing works :S13:21
perexg alfonsius: this stream is not supported, only format 33 (MP2T - MPEG-TS) is accepted by tvheadend.. your cam provides two streams (H264 and PCM-A) without muxing..13:34
alfonsius perexg: damn, and i don't even use audio...13:36

smoere someone bored enough to help me with debugging insane tvh load times (2min-ish)? --debug doesn't give a clue (hangs between the epg loaded and tvh started messages), no idea wich susbsystem to --trace14:02
oh, and it happens on current HEAD, doesn't happen with my old version from end of march14:02
moparisthebest joined14:03
mpmctoo smoere: Is it due to backup at the start?14:07
perexg smoere: does strace show something ?14:08
mpmctoo: no, it's before..14:08
the backup is before EPG loading..14:08
mpmctoo perexg: Ah, If it's a TBS tuner, I had an issue like that - dodgy driver].14:08
smoere only SAT IP tuners, and i have to install strace on the box. just a sec14:09

smoere perexg: some kind of timeouts: http://pastebin.com/H4DWCPZk14:19
perexg ok, not much useful.. do you compile tvh from sources ?14:23
or wait - could you grep only the primary thread ?14:24
smoere found the part before the no child stuff: http://pastebin.com/dGrh4gWZ14:25
perexg try to grep only the primary pid, mixing all pids (threads) is confusing..14:27
and use -tt...14:28
smoere will do14:29
perexg: as pastebinit doesn't like 8meg files: are you only interested in the last x lines or should i compress it and put it somewhere?14:44

epg was loaded at 2015-05-07 16:48:05.73114:55
next line (got connection) at 2015-05-07 16:50:35.38414:55
perexg it looks like in the dbus_init() - the dvr init seems to be completed - there are only brk() calls - memory allocation activity in next 90 seconds..15:00
could you add some printf() calls to the code around dvr_init() and dbus_server_start() calls ?15:00
in src/main.c ..15:00
smoere will do. any intersting variables i should put out or just the usual "hello i'm alive" stuff?15:01
perexg smoere: just hello - we need to track where the code stucks.. or you may use gdb.. run tvh in gdb and press Ctrl-C to interrupt the app.. then type bt (backtrace)15:02
